Parc Pilote fountain
Parc Pilote fountain
At the reopening of the park On May 21st, 2008, the lower part of the fountain dedicated to dogs was not working very well. Some adjustments had then been made by City workers in order to add more pressure to allow dogs to drink properly.
Also, as we previously asked Borough Ville-Marie, in 2009 they came and installed a hose. They did not attach it to the fountain since the water pressure is too low. Instead, they installed it by the gate as we suggested, near the concrete slab, as the use of the hose would be for dog owners to wash their dogs.
Some time later, we had to stop the use of the hose because some users were apparently leaving it running, so much that the water formed a hole next to the gate by the fountain where an average size dog could go under.
Thank you to Borough Ville-Marie, especially Catherine Sévigny, our City Counselor, and Alain Dufort, Director of Borough Ville-Marie who have granted our wish to have a fountain in our dog park.
