Why join the Club?

Because you love dogs. Because you are aware of the fact that by joining their forces dog owners have more chances to be heard. Because we have founded a licensed non profitable organization legally recognized. Because so far we have established a solid reputation towards all people and organisms we had to deal with, among them Borough of Ville-Marie which accepted our project and worked with us in the making of park Pilote. Because all the money collected in memberships will be spent for the cause of dogs, whether in the dog park Pilote, or otherwise. Because, just like us, you have your community at heart and you believe that it is important to support any volunteer action dedicated to try to make a better place for dogs in our society. Because you do not want to see the Club disappeared since one of these days you might decide to get on board and participe actively in it.

Your contribution will allow us to pay for our basic spendings such as the annual renewal of our registration at the Registraire des entreprises, the hosting of our Website, the renewal of our domain name registration, bank fees, accessories and equipment for the park and all other dog related activities.

How much is it?

We’re asking a volontary contribution of $20 per dog. If the owner has another dog, the contribution is $10 for the second dog and, if there is a third, it is $5 for this latter.

In our Club, it is the dogs who are the members. So, when the owners send us pictures of their dogs we publish them on our Website. Dog owners have also the privilege to buy Poop’n Scoop bio bags from the Club at a very good price.

How to become a member?

Every year in June we try to organize an activity in park Pilote to give an oppotunity to members to renew their annual membership and celebrate the beginning of the summer at the same time.

You can also join the club by going to the boutique 100 Laisses (100 leashes) situated at 42 McGill Street. The owner, Isabelle Renaud, is a member of our Commitee (Board). Members can also buy the Club’s Poop’n Scoop bags at her dog boutique.

If you prefer, you can mail us your name, dog’s name and address with a $20 cheque made to Canine Club Vieux-Montréal. Your membership is valid until May 31 the following year.
