Why join the Club?

Your volontary contribution to the Club of $20 per dog will help us pay for our basic expenses such as the renewal of our annual registration at the Registraire des entreprises, the hosting of our Website, the registration of our Domain name, as well as accessories and/or equipement for our dog park. Even if Park Pilote is a City park, we can still participate in its improvement like when we bought the earth to fill the holes. We also asked the City to provide us with urban elements like pipes and concrete blocks to use it for an agility course. Once we received those elements we’ll paint it in yellow to make it more joyfull and secure.

Eventually, we would like to replace the grass under the trees and around the picnic tables since as soon as it rains it becomes muddy. For instance, if the City would agree to put gravel there, we could add our part in order to get a better product than the one the City would likely use. We would also like to get some kind of shelter, gazebo or bus shelter. For  now though, all investments in the park have to wait after the work’s done at Bonaventure Highway but we’ll be ready for the resettlement. Membership funds could also be used for the Club activities in the park and, in this matter, we remain open to your comments and suggestions.

When you become a member, we’ll publish the photo of your dog on our Website, you’ll receive our occasional newsletter and other messages such as informing you of the temporary closure of the park when it happens, and you can also buy biodegradable bags from us at a very good price.

How to become member?

You can join the club by asking one of the Committee members, when you meet one of us. We usually have cards with us which can be used as a receipt. Or, if you prefer, you can mail us a $20 cheque made to Canine Club Vieux-Montréal. Your membership is valid until May 31 the following year.

You can also come and see us while walking Fido, and pay your membership directly at Cours LeRoyer, 58 de Brésoles St. Suite 2, between 9 am and noon or between 1 pm and 5 pm. If you need some bio bags, you could get them at the same time and bring us a photo of your dog for our Website album.
